Pierre Fourie

Pierre obtained a Mining Engineering degree
from the University of Pretoria and completed
his BCom degree in Accounting and Auditing
through the University of South Africa. He
started his mining career with JCI at
Randfontein Estates Gold Mine in 1991. Pierre
gained valuable underground production
experience before moving to Potgietersrust
Platinum openpit mine. In 1998 he started
consulting as a mining engineer at ACMS. Pierre
started LQS with Pierre Bredell in 2000 and
currently runs LQS' Perth office in Australia.
Pierre's major strengths are: strategic planning,
mine costing, contract-mining evaluation and
control, mine optimisation, design and
scheduling.
Pierre has optimised, designed and scheduled
open pits for Potgietersrust Platinums, Phelps
Dodge, Tati Nickel, Anglo American and
Harmony. Pierre was also involved with
underground design, scheduling and valuation of
mines like the Placer Dome Western Areas South
Deep gold mine and the Twickenham platinum
project of Anglo Platinum.
The unique combination of mining engineering
and commerce degrees enables Pierre to value
mining operations and projects with a very good
appreciation for the technical aspects.

Pierre obtained a Mining Engineering degree
from the University of Pretoria in 1995 and his
Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency in
1997.
He started LQS with Pierre Fourie in March 2000,
after two years of underground production work
at Randfontein Estates Gold Mine and three
years of mining consulting at Centrocen
Projects.
Pierre's major strengths are the application of
operational mine management systems and
benchmarking of mining operations (surface and
underground). Pierre has been involved with
numerous projects for various clients on both a
technical and project management level. Since
January 2005, Pierre has been responsible for
the development and growth of the company's
global presence from London.

Tertius van Niekerk
(South Africa)

|
Tertius obtained his degree in 1998. After
spending a year in the UK working for GE Capital
Woodchester, Tertius joined Samrec (Pty) Ltd, as
production and plant manager responsible for
daily production, quality control and local- and
export dispatches of andalusite products at their
Apiesdoring Plant in Burgersfort. After spending
2 years at the plant, Tertius was promoted to
product manager at their headquarters in
Pretoria. Tertius joined the LQS team in
February 2004.
Since joining the LQS team Tertius has been
involved in numerous projects in South Africa
and Africa. This includes work for BHP Billiton,
Anglo Platinum's Turffontein shaft, South Deep
and the design and scheduling of the first
underground Gold mining operation in Ethiopia.

John Paul Hudson

John Paul graduated as a Civil Mining Engineer in
1995 at Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He also
completed his Master of Business and
Administration at Universidad Cat�lica de Chile
in 2003. John Paul has acquired experience as
consultant to the Mining Industry in Argentina,
Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and USA.
He also has experience in underground and open
pit mining, operations, short and long term
planning.
Recently he worked for Runge Latin America
where he applied his know-how of mine
planning, economics, accountancy and
information technology. In April 2005 he started
LQS Latin America with Juan Pablo Moriamez.
John Paul's major strengths are: mine costing,
mining management, budgeting, mining planning
and strategic planning.
Some of John Paul's recent projects are:
Estrategic Model to Codelco Norte PEX 2005
(Chile), Budget Model to Minera Alumbrera
(Argentina) and Mining Planning Model to
Mineracao Rio do Norte (Brasil).

Juan Pablo Moriamez

Juan Pablo Moriamez graduated as a mining
engineer from the University of Santiago. Since
graduation, he has gained openpit mining
experience at Codelco Norte in both production
and planning. Juan started his mining career
working as project engineer for Chuqui Norte,
Extension Norte Mina Sur and other projects.
Following this, Juan moved to the Production
area in Mina Sur, where he gained extensive
experience working operational shifts for two
years. Juan Pablo's experience in mine planning
has been well rounded through studies at the
Colorado School of Mines. His Masters focused on
mine planning, specifically reviewing software
such us Minesight Strategic Mine Planner (821),
Datamine and NPV Scheduler, Whittle Four X and
Opticut in considerable detail, with his final
report also covering cut off grade optimisation.
Following these studies, Juan Pablo's experience
and interest in long term open pit scheduling was
further broadened through his work with IM2
(Investigation branch of Codelco). Then, he
joined Runge's Latin American operations
applying his skills and experience in planning and
scheduling of open pit mines. In April 2005 he
started LQS Latin America with John Paul
Hudson.

Mike Seymour

Mike obtained his Mining Engineering Degree in 2000
from the University of the Witwatersrand. He
started his mining career with Anglogold Ashanti
where he has gained 6 years of deep level gold
mining experience. During this time, he gained
underground experience as a production official and
obtained both Mine Managers and Mine Overseers
Certificates of Competency. Mike has exposure to
Open Pit Mining in Africa as well as Mine Design
experience on TauTona Undergorund Gold Mine.
Mike obtained his Graduate Diploma in Engineering
(Minerals Economics) from the University of the
Witwatersrand and is currently working towards his
M.Eng conversion in Mineral Economics.
Mike joined the LQS team in October 2005.

Elington Ncube

|
Elington Ncube has a B.Sc in Mining Engineering from the
Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent. Also holds an MBA
form the University of Zimbabwe. He is a Fellow of SAIMM and
professional engineer, PrEng.
He gained operational and planning experience working in
both open pit and underground mines in Zimbabwe and project
management under Townshend van der Walt and Partners (TWP)
where he obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)
qualification.
His project experience includes working in a number of
projects from Anglo Platinum, Impala Platinum and Samancor
in the Western Limb and Braakfontein and Samrec in the
Eastern Limb and Konkola Copper Mines in Zambia.
He joined LQS in June, 2007 and has been working on Hernic
long term strategic plan and the Mooihoek Chrome Mine
planning and scheduling.

Kennedy Makotore

Kennedy graduated in 1996 at the University of Zimbabwe with an honours
degree in Mining Engineering. He started his career in 1997 in underground
platinum mines in Northern Harare mainly in planning and project management.
He decided to locate to Thabazimbe in South Africa in 1998, where he joined
Samrec Audalusite Mines as a Mining Engineer. He soon became the Mining
Manager and gained valuable experience in Contract Mining, Open Pit Mine
Design and Planning, Production, Mineral Processing and
Mining Planning Software.
He was appointed at Xstrata in 2005 as a Group Mine Planning Engineer, with
the responsibilities for Mine Design, Planning and Scheduling of underground
flat dipping platinum and chrome deposits. He also gained experience to Mine
Financial Modeling and is currently finalizing his studies in
Financial Management.
His mining software experience ranges from Mine 2-4D,
Surpac, MineCad and EPS.
In June 2006 he joined LQS as a Mining Engineering Consultant.

Christian Muvingi

Christian joined the LQS team in June 2008, after spending more
than ten years in Mining Operations Management and Planning roles,
and Mining Consultancy roles in the Platinum Group Metals,
Gold, Coal, and Uranium Mines.
After graduating with Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in
Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe in 1998,
Christian worked in Senior roles in both Mining Production and
Planning for Cluff Resouces, Metallon Gold and Mimosa Platinum
Mining Company in Zimbabwe. As a Mining Executive for Mimosa
Mining Company, he successfully managed a number of Growth
projects which saw the company become one of the leading
players in the Platinum Group Metal Industry.

Lukunku D. Lwalukunku

|
Lukunku completed his M.Sc degree in 1990 at the
University of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is a certified professional engineer. Lukunku started his
career at Gold fields Ltd before continuing to Northam
Platinum where he climbed the production ranks from shift
boss to mine overseer and finally landed up as projects and
optimisation coordinator. Lukunku is a member is SAIMM,
Association of Mine Managers of South Africa (AMMSA),
Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA),
African Mineral Association (AMA)

Maurice Mostert

Maurice completed a National Diploma in Mining from the
Technikon Witwatersrand in 2000. All Maurice's
experiential training was done at Gold Fields mines
where he built up invaluable underground production
experience on ultra deep mines.
After completing his studies Maurice worked at Driefontein,
Kloof and Leeudoorn mines. Maurice received his mine
overseer's certificate of competency in 2003 and worked
as production supervisor and later mine overseer until
leaving the mining operations for a more commercial career.
In 2005 Maurice joined Micromine Africa as Business
Development Manager for the Micromine , FieldMarshall and
GBIS product suites. In early 2007 Maurice took the position
as Software Development Manager at LQS Software.

Julian Bennett is a widely experienced mining professional
with over 40 years in the industry. His career has covered
the following: mining engineering, mine design, mine
planning, mine operations, mine construction, mining
consultancy and mine management. He has worked in bauxite,
copper, cobalt, gold, chrome, iron ore, nickel, and lead and
zinc. He has experience of open pit and underground mining.
His career has taken him to Europe, West, Central and Southern
Africa, North, Central and South America, Central Asia and
Australia. Specific countries include Angola, Australia,
Canada, Chile, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Guyana,
Honduras, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lesotho, Macedonia, Peru,
Republic of South Africa, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Uganda,

Benjamin Cebrian Romo

Benjamin Cebrian Romo graduated as a mining engineer from
the Polytecnical University of Madrid (UPM). Benjamin
started his mining career working as an engineer at
technical services at Union Espa�ola de Explosivos
(UEE now MAXAM). In 2004 he became the manager of
subsidiaries of UEE-Europe Technical Services (Servicio
Plus). The four main activities at that department were
consultancy in drilling and blasting, training of
engineers and technicians, research and publication of
innovations in explosives and rock fragmentation and
development of new, safer, explosives and blasting
techniques. He was a founder member of the ISEE Chapter
at the Colorado School of Mines. His Masters focused on
mining engineering and mineral economics, mixing both
concepts for a better, more complete focus of drilling
and blasting efficiency and downstream implications
(mine-to-mill approach).He worked as part of the
Spanish team of the European Union research program
called "less fines", for better control of fines
production on the aggregate industries. Since 2006 he
created BLAST CONSULT S.L, performing works worldwide
of consultancy and training. He also is contributing to
the mining industry by writing the SME 2009 book
chapter on drilling and blasting.

Lizél obtained her BCom Law degree at the
University of Pretoria in 2001. She joined LQS in
December 2001 taking over the financial and
administration duties. She carried on with her
studies and completed her LLB degree at the
University of South Africa in 2005 and was
admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of
South Africa in 2005 and enrolled accordingly.
She is currently the financial manager and legal
adviser of LQS and furthermore is focusing on
providing legal consulting in the mining and
manufacturing industry. Her skills as a legal
adviser is utilized in the following corporate
fields: Environmental legal assessments &
sustainable development; Compilation of legal
registers according to ISO/OHSAS; Drafting and
perusal of contracts; Labour Matters and
Comparing and reconciliation of foreign laws.

Stephen started his consulting career in
Environmental Management in 2002 by working on
various projects together with Environmental
Consultancy Businesses. Since then he gained
additional knowledge and practical experience in
the Mining, Industrial, Construction industries and
Local City Council - City Planners offices.
He specialises in Physic-chemical water quality
management and aquatic resource management to
which he rendered his specialised services such as
Bio-monitoring to Lonmin, President Steyn Gold
Mine, Anglo Platinum Amandelbult, Nickel and
Magnesium Smelter, ERPM Gold Mine and Ekhuruleni
Town Council. Stephen was also involved in
specialist studies such as Ecological assessment for a
proposed upgrading and extension of a graveyard in
the Northern Province and Mine Closure Plan for
Vlakfontein Nickel Mine.
He further gained experience in Developmental
compliance studies as project leader at Wanderers
stadium for the Ubuntu village for the World Summit
on Sustainable Development. He was contracted as
Environmental Control Officer for the construction
of Eskom powerline in Rustenburg. He provided
assistance on EMPR reports at various stages of
development as part of project teams to the De
Beers Premier Diamond and Lonmin Platinum Mines.
In 2005 Stephen formed an alliance with LQS to start
their Environmental Division.

Ruan completed his Computer Science diploma at
CRUX CTI (Roodepoort) in 2001. He worked on
various programming and web design projects, after
which he created the LQSonline.com website in
December 2001. He is also involved in the
development of Mine Designer and Interactive
Scheduler. Ruan is currently studying towards a Computer
Engineering at the University of Pretoria under
bursary from LQS
Ruan joined the LQS team in March 2002, and is
proficient in the following: .Net, Ajax, Visual C#, C++, Borland Delphi,
SQL Server, Access, MS Project, JBuilder, Visual Basic,

assistant. Sanet joined LQS in 2005 to take care of the administration and accounts.

Alicia Sierra obtained her degree in advertising at the
Universidad Santiago de Cali, Colombia in 2001.
She also obtained her masters degree in Consumer's
Behaviour at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez, Chile.
She started working with small companies' management,
assisting them in developing marketing strategies
for their products.
She then worked with a public company called CVC,
coordinating their promotional activities.
Arriving in Chile she worked at a retail magazine
called "Al Detalle". Here, Alicia was responsible
for co-ordinating the marketing strategies for this
new magazine and developed sales strategies for
potential advertisers. Here at LQS, Alicia works as
marketing manager for LQS Latin America, in charge
of the promotional activities of the company and of
the training business area.

Dexter obtained his BSc (1983) and BEng (1987) degrees from McGill University.
He completed the Canadian Securities Course (1988) and Canadian Investment
Finance I&II, CIF I&II, in 1990. Dexter also obtained a MBA in 2002 from Royal
Roads University.
Dexter joined CAMECO Corporation (Saskatoon, Canada) in 1989 as Mining
Engineer. Determining applicable mining methods and computerised design of
underground mine plans were among his responsibilities.
In 1992 Dexter joined Uranerz Exploration & Mining LTD (Saskatoon, Canada).
Among his responsibilities were international property acquisition evaluations
through the construction and interrogation of economic models and ore reserve
calculations utilizing geostatistical methods.
Dexter joined Placer Dome (Vancouver, Canada) in 1995 as Senior Mining
Engineer and was appointed as Corporate Analyst in 2000. Among his
responsibilities were the construction of complex tax-structure models related
to potential acquisitions and/or mergers; optimising mineral resources; ore
and resource estimations, utilizing enhanced geostatistical methods and
software, including Vulcan, Datamine, Gemcom, Surpac and in-house software.
Dexter joined South Deep Gold Mine (South Africa) from 2001 as Senior
Resource Geologist and was appointed Chief Planning Engineer in 2002. Among
his responsibilities were construction of ore resource models; 2D and 3D
geological modelling; due diligence work; compliance with best code of
practice and budgets. Dexter started working for LQS in 2003 as Mineral
Resource Estimator.
